The Flitescooter 237-liter is the easiest eFoil to learn. Imagine taking your first ride in minutes! It is inflatable, forgiving, and safe. The handlebars offer four points of contact and allow riders to turn the eFoil away on falls. The massive board is stable and easy to stand on, even at rest. The perfect choice for non-athletes and those who might not be able to manage a smaller board.
People get into eFoiling for a variety of reasons: some for sport and adrenaline, some for leisure and an easy thrill. The Flitescooter is perfect for the recreational user who wants something slow and easy for the family or themselves. Imagine exploring your waterfront and going for long casual rides. If you entertain lots of guests, this is the perfect eFoil to share with anyone to introduce them to the world of hydrofoils.
Can I Skip the Beginner eFoil?
This is the easiest eFoil, but you don’t have to start here. If touring and easy riding are for you, the Flitescooter is perfect. We use it for our Guided tours along the Emerald Coast, and yes, you can take the handlebars off for a traditional feel, but this is a big board with a mellow ride. If you have your sights set on a more advanced eFoil, we recommend learning about something like the Fliteboard 100-liter or even the PRO 67-liter if you’re willing to put in the work. Our stance is that you can save a lot of money by starting on the board you want to ride but invest in eFoil lessons and accept the challenge of learning it. It takes most eFoil students about 35 minutes to learn on a 100-liter Fliteboard and up to a few hours to master something small like a 67-liter Fliteboard PRO. It’s up to you to decide what experience you want from your eFoil. Call us to discuss the best strategy and options for you.
What Mast Does Flitescooter Use?
60cm Mast: The Flitescooter uses a forgiving 60 cm mast, which is 15 to 20 cm shorter than other masts. This allows riders to take their first flight without an intimidating height. Longer masts allow for sharper turns, gliding higher above the chop, and can be used with higher-performance wings.
Which Propulsion System Does Flitescooter Use?
Flite Jet: The only system available for this model and the perfect choice for beginners. With no moving external parts, it offers a more forgiving thrust and slightly slower speeds, making it the ideal companion for learning how to eFoil. It is also a perfect choice for families, group outings, and worry-free sessions.
Wing Sets to Pair with the Flitescooter?
Cruiser 1800: Flitescooter only works with one wing set. The 1800 is the most accessible and forgiving hydrofoil wing. Expect a stable platform and easy take-offs at a slower speed. An 1800 wing is an excellent choice for eFoilers above 220 pounds.
Fliteboard wings have cross-compatibility, so you’re not locked into one set. You’ll be able to use your 1800 with other Fliteboards if you upgrade later. This would be useful if you plan on teaching friends later on.
What Flitecell Battery for my Flitescooter?
Flitecell Sport: The Flitescooter comes with the Flitecell Sport. You can expect around 90 minutes of ride time, but if you want to use the Flitescooter for an afternoon and share it with family and friends, we think the upgrade to the Explore is worth it.
Flitecell Explore: With up to 150 minutes of ride time, you won’t have to worry about running out of power during those long sessions at the beach. Use this for touring, family outings or long days at the beach.
